Tina: The Tina Turner Musical

ina: The Tina Turner Musical tells the story of one of the most extraordinary careers in rock history — from humble beginnings to global superstardom to personal reinvention. The production features live performances of her greatest hits: “Proud Mary,” “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” “Simply the Best,” and more. It’s a full-production Broadway show, not a concert — the storytelling is as much a draw as the music.

The Hollywood Pantages is one of LA’s best venues for Broadway touring shows — intimate enough that there isn’t a bad seat in the house, beautiful Art Deco interior, and easy enough to get to from the South Bay (35 minutes via the 105 or 110 freeways, depending on traffic). A good date night or group outing — runs through Sunday April 19.
