Fiesta Broadway

Fiesta Broadway is the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the United States — and it
happens in downtown LA, about 30 minutes from Manhattan Beach. Over 200,000 people
typically turn out across a mile-long stretch of Broadway that shuts down to traffic and
becomes a full-day street festival from 11am to 6pm.

The lineup is big: multiple live music stages featuring regional Mexican, cumbia,
norteño, and Latin pop acts across different parts of the festival footprint. Food
vendors, artisan markets, carnival games, cultural performances, a classic car show, and
a kids’ zone all compete for your attention. The energy is genuinely festive in a way
that’s hard to replicate elsewhere — this is one of those events that LA does at a scale
and warmth that’s hard to find in most American cities.

Free admission for everyone. Plan for crowds and limited parking — rideshare or Metro (K
Line from El Segundo, transfer to A or E Line for Historic Broadway station) is the
best approach from the South Bay.
