BeachLife Festival

BeachLife Festival is the South Bay’s signature music event — three days of live music right on the water at Seaside Lagoon and King Harbor in Redondo Beach, 10 minutes from Manhattan Beach and 5 from Hermosa. The venue is genuinely special: 8.6 acres at the waterfront, four stages, harbor views, and the kind of indoor-outdoor California energy that makes people realize why they live here.

The 2026 lineup is exceptional. Friday: Duran Duran, The Chainsmokers, Grouplove, Fitz and The Tantrums, flipturn, BØRNS. Saturday: The Offspring, Slightly Stoopid, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Sugar Ray, Switchfoot. Sunday: James Taylor & His All-Star Band, My Morning Jacket, Sheryl Crow, Peach Pit, Poolside. Three days, three completely different sonic directions — which is part of why the festival works for such a wide range of people.

Tickets are required. General Admission runs $169/day or $409 for a 3-day pass. GA Plus ($399/3-day) includes unlimited re-entry — useful if you want to grab lunch away from the grounds or check in on the neighborhood. VIP upgrades available. Parking is limited; rideshare drop-off is about a 5-minute walk from the entrance at Dive N’ Surf on N Broadway. Bike valet available at both ends of the grounds.

BeachLife has become one of those events that people in the South Bay put on their calendar in January. If you haven’t been, it is worth going — the combination of the lineup, the location, and the neighborhood vibe makes it unlike any other music festival in Southern California.
