BCHD Board of Directors Meeting — June

The Beach Cities Health District (BCHD) Board of Directors holds its June meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the BCHD offices on N Prospect Avenue in Redondo Beach. The Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month and the meetings are open to residents of all three Beach Cities: Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach.

BCHD is an independent public agency that funds and operates a range of health and wellness services across the three cities, including the Center for Health & Fitness, AdventurePlex youth programming, the AdvantageCare physician network, the Blue Zones Project Beach Cities work, and senior services like care management and Errand Volunteer programs. The Board oversees BCHD’s budget, facility decisions, and the ongoing Healthy Living Campus redevelopment at the former South Bay Hospital site at 514 N Prospect, a project that has been a focal point of public discussion for several years. June agendas typically include staff reports, financial updates, project status briefings, and a dedicated public comment portion. Full agendas are posted at bchd.org/board-meetings in advance of each meeting, and residents can attend in person or join by Zoom. Written public comment can also be submitted before the meeting.
