4th of July Fireworks at Redondo Beach (King Harbor)

King Harbor in Redondo Beach hosts the closest 4th of July fireworks show to Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. The display launches over the harbor around 9pm and is visible from much of the King Harbor area, the Redondo Pier, and parts of the Esplanade. For South Bay residents who can’t catch the Manhattan Beach Pier fireworks, this is the alternative — and it’s a strong show. Bring a blanket and arrive by 8pm for a good viewing spot. Parking around King Harbor is competitive on the 4th; consider walking or using rideshare.
